WARRINGTON BUS STATION FECEMBER 2008

I was waiting for a bus
Watching a young lady pondering
Her blue jeans crumpled at the knees
The bottoms tucked tightly into her boots

Her fur coat kept out the bitter wind
As she talked into her mobile
Was she going anywhere I wondered
Or is she waiting for her beau

Did she know that
She was a flash in my life
She did not look at me
I probably wasn't a flash in hers.
